Part of the Do's and don'ts – how to keep children and young people safe series.
Open and transparent communication in relation to the drop off and pick up of children and young people is a proactive approach to ensuring their ongoing safety and wellbeing.
Sporting organisations must have an accessible register of parent or carer emergency contact numbers and an operational phone. In addition, if a parent or carer is late, the sporting organisation must make reasonable attempts to contact them.
