Sport Integrity apps are available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play. We also provide two Virtual Reality (VR) online learning experiences.

    Sport Integrity App

    With over 110,000 app downloads, the Sport Integrity App is a useful resource to inform and protect athletes in the sport integrity space, wherever they compete, perform or play.

    The app was originally developed with the goal to help Australian athletes compete clean. Since its launch in 2018, the app has been improved to meet the needs of athletes.

    Useful app functionalities include:

    • Help for athletes to check medications before using them.
    • How to find low risk batch-tested supplements.
    • How to report a sport integrity issue or suspicious activity.
    • Check if an in-advance Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) is needed.
    • Access to Sport Integrity Australia’s online education
    • Information on match-fixing, illicit drugs, TUEs, testing, anti-doping and athlete whereabouts.
    • Send feedback on testing, education or another part of our work.

    Health Effects of Doping app

    In collaboration with Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Sport Integrity Australia provides a free educational 'Health Effects of Doping' app. The app uses Augmented Reality (AR) to explore the health effects of performance enhancing drugs.

    Sport Integrity Australia have other digital resources that are fun, educational and offered free online.

    These include two Virtual Reality (VR) experiences:

    • Doping Control VR experience (also available in the Sport Integrity app menu).
    • Ethical Decision Making in Sport VR experience.

    These online experiences are frequently updated. Check the information in the accordions below for further details.

    Experience your first sample collection test experience from your own home. Also known as doping control, this experience takes you through the entire sample-collection process:

    • See what it is like to provide a virtual urine sample, without the anxiety of an in-person test.
    • Learn what you have to do during a test.
    • Learn your rights and responsibilities as an athlete.

    Users of this online resource DO NOT require a VR headset to undertake the sample collection experience.

    Doping Control VR

    The Decision Making in Sport Virtual Reality experience is an award-winning online learning tool, delivered by the Sport Integrity Australia Education team. This innovative VR experience adds to Sport Integrity Australia's world-class suite of educational tools, including Doping Control VR, the Health Effects of Doping Augmented Reality app and the Sport Integrity app.

    The Decision Making in Sport VR tool won three LearnX awards in 2021 for:

    • Best Use of Technology in Learning
    • Best VR Design and Development Team
    • Best VR Soft Skills

    This online accessible VR offers a “choose-your own-adventure” style experience. It applies a “value-based decision making” framework to sport. Users get first-hand insight into some potential career-changing choices elite athletes face. Users make decisions, then see possible outcomes to understand repercussions of their choices.
