What we can help with
Breaches of the National Integrity Framework (NIF)
The NIF is a set of policies that sport organisations agree to, outlining the expected standards of behaviour for everyone involved in sport. Prohibited Conduct refers to actions that go against these policies.
If your sport has adopted the NIF (view list), we're here to help with issues related to Prohibited Conduct such as safeguarding children and young people (under 18), as well as discrimination. Our support is free and independent.

Doping in sport
By reporting doping activities to us, you can help protect the integrity of Australian sport. You can report doping involving athletes, coaches, team doctors, physios, or in some cases parents of athletes.
We use all information we receive – even if it seems small. Your information could help improve our anti-doping testing or lead to an investigation and action against those violating anti-doping rules.

What we can’t help with
We can’t manage allegations of misconduct about:
- bullying, abuse or harassment of adults
- team or representative selection disputes
- organisational governance or employment issues
- disputes that occur in the field of play
- a complaint already managed or decision made by sport
- sports that have not implemented the National Integrity Framework or any conduct that occurred before your sports commencement date of the NIF.
If you report these matters to us, we can’t investigate or manage the matter through a complaints process.
However, we may make suggestions on how to resolve those concerns through other means – for example, through the sport itself, the Australian Human Rights Commission, or law enforcement to investigate criminal matters.
While we can’t help directly with competition manipulation and sport gambling, we can receive this information to pass onto other agencies.
Reporting abusive or inappropriate content online
The eSafety Commissioner can investigate cyberbullying of children, adult cyber abuse, image-based abuse (sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images without the consent of the person shown) and illegal and restricted content.
They may be able to take down inappropriate material quickly on your behalf.
Criminal activity
We may report any information related to criminal activity to law enforcement or the relevant sporting organisation(s). If you have concerns about this, let us know in your submission.
