Sport Integrity Australia acknowledges that the French Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD) has imposed a four-year period of Ineligibility on athlete Jyde Dwyer for the Presence of Prohibited Substance and its Metabolite.
Mr Dwyer was subject to 2 doping control tests conducted by the AFLD. The first doping control test which returned an Adverse Analytical Finding was conducted In-Competition on 12 October 2025 during the Super XIII rugby championship match between RC Saint-Gaudens and Pia XIII Baroudeur, in Saint‑Gaudens, France.
The second doping control test, which also returned an Adverse Analytical Finding, was conducted Out-of-Competition on 30 October 2025 during a training session at the Racing Club de Saint-Gaudens, France.
Both of Mr Dwyer’s samples were analysed at the French Anti-Doping Laboratory and the presence of Drostanolone and its metaboilite, 2a-methyl-5a-androstan-3a-ol-17-one were detected.
Drostanolone is listed under Class S1.1 (Anabolic Androgenic Steroids) of the World Anti-Doping Code – International Standard – Prohibited List 2025 (2025 Prohibited List). Drostanolone is a non-Specified Substance and is prohibited at all times.
The Athlete was provisionally suspended from 12 November 2025.

In accordance with Article L. 232-23 of the French Sports Code, the AFLD have imposed a four-year period of Ineligibility on Mr Dwyer, for the Presence of a Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in his Sample.
Mr Dywer’s four-year period of Ineligibility commenced on 12 November 2025, being the date he was provisionally suspended.
Mr Dwyer is ineligible to participate in any sports that have adopted a World Anti-Doping Code compliant anti-doping policy until 11:59pm 11 November 2029. He is also not permitted to compete in a non-signatory professional league, or event organised by a non-signatory International or National level event organisation.

The substance Drostanolone is listed under Class S1.1 Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) under the Prohibited List 2025. The substance Drostanolone is classified as a Non-Specified Substance and is prohibited at all times.
