Face-to-face education

We deliver face-to-face sessions to sporting groups around the country aligning with integrity education plans developed collaboratively with our colleagues in National Sporting Organisations.

Our education presenters have extensive experience in elite sport – either as an elite athlete, coach, sports medical practitioner or administrator.

They provide engaging and interactive presentations that will meet the particular needs of each group and sport.

These sessions are usually delivered at no cost to the organisation, within the resources we have available.

Outreach events

As part of our education offering, we partner with sports to set up outreach booths at major sporting events.

It's an opportunity for athletes, parents and support personnel to engage in conversation and ask our education presenters questions in a casual and relaxed setting.

For these, we provide:

• staff
• a marquee
• technology
• free merchandise.

School programs and visits

To support Aussie kids, our future athletes and their teachers, we offer low-cost face-to-face education sessions.

We try to accommodate these requests at no cost to schools, where possible.

During school visits we educate students on:

• ‘food first’ nutrition messaging
• the risks of supplements
• the dangers of performance enhancing and image enhancing drugs
• ethical decision making in sport and:
• good sportsmanship.
   

Our education staff can also deliver professional development sessions for teachers at no cost, either in-person or online.

These sessions are designed to help teachers understand and apply our education material, online learning tools and curriculum-aligned lesson plans guides.

We have a suite of resources available for all education levels including secondary school lesson guides to complement health and physical education curriculum subjects.
