National Children's Week is about the importance of listening to young people and ensuring their voices count.

That’s why Sport Integrity Australia is recruiting members for the Youth Athlete Reference Group (YARG).

We want to hear from young people with all kinds of experiences in sport.

If you’re aged 14–21 and involved in sport, this is your chance to make a difference.

You don’t need to be an elite athlete.

If you play, train, or compete in sport, your voice matters.

Why apply to YARG

  • Have a direct say in decisions that affect young athletes
  • Help shape policies, resources and campaigns used across sport
  • Share your ideas, experiences and perspectives
  • Build confidence and develop new skills
  • Work with young people from around Australia.

Who can apply

We’re looking for young people aged 14–21:

  • from any sport and any level
  • from all backgrounds and communities
  • with different experiences and perspectives.

What it’s about

The YARG gives young people the opportunity to share their experiences, ideas and perspectives to help shape safe, fair and inclusive sport.
