Sport Integrity Australia finalises matters relating to Football Australia’s Independent Complaint Handling Process

  • Media statements

Sport Integrity Australia has now finalised all matters relating to Football Australia’s (FA) Independent Complaint Handling Process (ICHP).

The process was established by Football Australia to enable Sport Integrity Australia to independently receive, assess and manage complaints relating to Football Australia’s National Programs (including the men’s and women’s National teams, plus the A-League Men, A-League Women and A-League Youth).

Sport Integrity Australia received 27 submissions with the majority deemed to be out of scope.

Three submissions which were out of scope were referred to law enforcement and another two proceeded to the investigation phase and have now been finalised.

Of the two cases that proceeded to investigation, one complaint was withdrawn, the other was unable to be substantiated.

All complaints and reports are to remain confidential pursuant to clause 3.9(a) of the relevant policy.
