About this webinar

As members of our sport, we are all responsible for improving the sporting culture and prioritising child safeguarding.

The Ten National Principles for Child Safe Organisations are designed to help organisations to build a safer and more positive environment for children and young people.

This webinar will introduce you to the Ten National Principles, how they apply to sport and importantly, provide you with some practical actions you can take to embed them within your club to minimise the risk of abuse and harm to children and young people.

The implementation of these principles will set the benchmark for your organisation’s current child safeguarding capability and help you to guide ongoing improvement.

By the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  1. Understand what the 10 National Principles are and how they apply to sport
  2. Identify practical steps to integrate the Principles into your clubs or sporting organisation
  3. Learn where to find tools, templates, and guidance to support child-safe initiatives and the implementation of the principles
  4. Gain an insight into how a sporting club is successfully applying the Child Safe Principles.
